Kovert is a tool to hide your secret messages in plain sight. You can hide your secrets in a public message and share it with your friends . They in turn can view the secret\hidden message using Kovert . You can use it to :

• Hide the receivers name in the public message you are sending to see who is forwarding your messages.


• Hide text from prying eyes .


• Hide an identifying code in your messages to find out the source of leaks i.e fingerprint your messages .

Kovert works on a principle called Steganography and what are called zero width characters. This was inspired by the excellent stenographer tool at pug.sh . You can read more about the ideas behind this here
